This section features a collection of projects I have completed both professionally and academically. These works demonstrate my skills in engineering design team collaboration, project analysis and management, developed through hands-on experience in real-world and academic environments.
CYPRESS AVENUE
TOWNHOUSES
As part of the engineering team at Simple Design LLC, I contributed to the structural design and preparation of permit-ready construction drawings for this multi-unit residential and retail development. My role involved developing detailed foundation plans, specifying reinforcement schedules, and drafting general structural notes in compliance with the International Building Code (IBC), ACI standards, and ASCE 7 load criteria.
I collaborated closely with the project Architect firm, Bardoun Design P.C., and regulatory agencies to ensure that the structural systems integrated seamlessly with the architectural design intent. I also coordinated with contractors and third-party reviewers to meet project specifications and code compliance, providing solutions for site-specific conditions like soil bearing capacity, stepped footings, and load distribution.
This project strengthened my skills in technical drafting, load analysis, and cross-disciplinary collaboration while contributing to a significant addition to the local community’s residential and commercial spaces.
DUPLEX HOUSE
I was responsible for drafting the complete structural drawing set for this residential duplex project, which included foundation plans, framing layouts, typical structural details, and general notes. The set was developed in close collaboration with Bardoun Design P.C. to ensure alignment with architectural intent and local code compliance. My work involved interpreting structural calculations, integrating multidisciplinary inputs, and maintaining drawing standards for permit submission and construction execution.
